Drop Deck Extendable

Our extendables can be used for a multitude of logistics requirements. Such as transporting huts, pipe carting, coach busses etc.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

  • A standard unit will feature all the necessities such as: JOST landing legs, 3-way twist locks, ramps for upper deck, tie-down points, 8mm thick laser cut side coaming, road-train bracket, LED side markers, ABS/EBS equipped.
  • Double welded I-Beam chassis construction allows for a tough and rigid frame. A strong inner sliding chassis rail allows for less payload reduction with increased length extension.
  • Fully forklift and machine rated floors are standard. These units extend from 45Ft to 70Ft.

BODY CONSTRUCTION

Side Coaming

8mm Thick Cold-Rolled sheet steel. Tensile Strength = 650mPa

Flooring

5mm Chequer-Plate flooring, mild steel at 350mPa tensile. Under-Floor construction consists of heavy duty I-Beam cross-members, with 30 x 30 x 3mm under-floor runners for extra support.

Skid-Plate

12mm Thick Skid-Plate, with two position bolt-on king pin boss-plates fitted as standard.

Road-Train Bracket

20mm thick folded C-Channel. With extra support gussets. Constructed from 350mPa mild steel.

Rear Tail-Gate

Standard ADR construction: Industrial C-250 channel – with multiple supports welded. Standard rear bumper bar installed (constructed from 100 x 100 x 6mm RHS)

UNDERFRAME

Chassis Beams

I-Beam Construction: 20mm thick Flange plates (350mPa), 6mm Webbing plate (450mPa) – Half the chassis webbing is double plated for heavy duty construction.

Landing Gear

JOST A400 Landing Gear (JOST E100 Also used).

King-Pin

JOST 50mm or 90mm available.
